These rules apply to everything you create, upload or publish with Clipvendo. They form part of the terms of sale and use. In case of a breach, we may remove content, disable an avatar, suspend or close an account, and report to the authorities any facts that may constitute an offence.

1. Faces and voices: consent is mandatory

  • You may only create an avatar from your own portrait, or from that of an adult who has given you signed, specific written permission (purpose: AI avatar for promotional videos), which you send to us.
  • Before each avatar, you confirm four separate statements; time-stamped proof is kept.
  • The person shown may withdraw their consent at any time: the avatar and its source files are then deleted.
  • A voice may not imitate a real person without their written consent.

2. Absolute prohibitions

  • Minors: no image, voice or depiction of anyone under 18.
  • Public figures: no celebrity, influencer, politician or other well-known person, even from a public photo.
  • Sexual, violent, hateful, harassing or discriminatory content; impersonation; political or electoral content.
  • Removing, hiding or altering the visible AI label, the watermark or the metadata of videos.

3. Honest advertising

  • The avatar presents the product: it never poses as a customer. No fake testimonials, fake reviews, fake ratings or fake sales figures.
  • No invented urgency or scarcity (“last items”, “offer ends tonight”): a limited offer is only mentioned if it is real and dated.
  • No promises of income or earnings.
  • No health, medical or weight-loss claims; no generic environmental claims (“eco-friendly”, “carbon neutral”); no unproven superlatives (“the best”, “No. 1”).
  • The product shown must be the one sold, with no altered features, size or colour. Only facts you can prove are allowed.
  • The advertising nature must be disclosed. On TikTok, turn on “AI-generated content” and, for a promotion, “Commercial content”.

4. Prohibited products

No videos for: illegal products, weapons, drugs, tobacco and nicotine products, gambling and betting tips, high-risk financial products and crypto-assets, cosmetic surgery or aesthetic medicine procedures and products, substitutes presented as replacing medical treatment, adult content, or any product prohibited by the platform where you publish.

5. Reasonable use

  • No mass production of near-identical videos (platforms may limit or penalise such posts).
  • No circumventing the service’s limits, no unauthorised automated access, no reselling the service or sharing accounts.
  • Respect the rights of others: trademarks, music, photos, text.

6. Reporting a breach

Use the reporting form. Cases of faces or voices used without consent and those involving minors are handled first.
