User guide: your first video in six steps

A few minutes of your time, then a short wait while the video is made. No editing skills needed.

Step 1 : Create your account and confirm your email

Click “Free trial” at the top of the page. Enter your email address, choose a password, tick the required boxes, then click “Create my account”.

You will receive a confirmation email. Open it and click the link inside.

Good to knowNo email after a few minutes? Check your “Junk” or “Spam” folder.

Step 2 : Click “Create a video”

Once logged in, you land in your account. Click the “Create a video” button.

Step 3 : Paste the product link or add photos

In the “Product link” field, paste the address of your product page (TikTok Shop, Shopify or any other shop).

No link? Add 2 to 5 photos of the product instead. Then choose the video language and click “Create my video”.

Good to knowIf the link cannot be read (TikTok often blocks automatic reading), just add photos: the video will be made from them.

Step 4 : Wait while the video is made

Clipvendo prepares your video. The list ticks off as it goes: “Writing the text”, “Voice-over”, “Animating the photos”, then “Editing”.

This can take a few minutes.

Good to knowYou can close the page and come back later: the work carries on without you. An email tells you when the video is ready.

Step 5 : Watch the preview and download the video

When everything is ticked, the video preview appears. Watch it, then click “Download my video”. The MP4 file is saved to your device.

Step 6 : Publish on TikTok with the right settings

In the TikTok app, upload the downloaded video. Before publishing:

  • turn on “AI-generated content”;
  • turn on “Commercial content”, because the video promotes a product;
  • paste the copied caption into the description.

Edit in the editor

After creation, you can open the video in the editor to change the subtitles, the order of the shots, the music or the on-screen text, then download a new version.

Talking avatar

You can add an AI presenter made from a portrait. You must be the person in the photo, or have their written permission. There are four consent boxes to tick, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

Minutes and plans

Each video uses minutes according to its length and mode. The cost is shown before every creation, and a creation that fails costs nothing. See the plans.

If something goes wrong

I did not receive the confirmation email
Check your “Junk” or “Spam” folder. You can also request a new email from your account.
The product link could not be read
Some shops, including TikTok Shop, block automatic reading. Add 2 to 5 photos of the product instead: that is enough to make the video.
The video is too long or there are not enough minutes left
The cost in minutes is shown before creation. If it is more than your balance, shorten the video, choose a mode that counts less, or change plan.
Which browser should I use?
A recent version of Chrome, Edge or Safari, on a computer or a phone. For the editor, a computer is more comfortable.
